City market - quite famous area in bangalore crowded and noisy - a cut out of the very ordinary type of population : it ranges from people who does various petty jobs; the fruit vendors; chat sellers ; readymades; hosiery and so on...You get to see people who are busy together with the flowing traffic . Not to spare the change of scenario on cloudy days when the sooty-hued clouds brought a downpour which had the same dark shade when the overflowed water gushed from the gutters. One could only shelter oneself from the rain and the dark shaded water flowing beneath, either boarding inside a bus parked or beneath the flyover . Both alternatives but could only slow down the process of getting drenched. In spite of all this it brought a sparkle into my eye when I saw the street-vendors selling hot pop-corns and fries with plastic bags covering their heads. Of course these were bought and munched by many to make their onward journey home energetic. I never saw them fretting over their discomfort of the wet outfit and wet foot-wear; instead could see a subtle coolness of attitude which only a highly yogic soul could have. Why should I go elsewhere to learn the higher lessons in life? It's all what we learn from these frail -bodied but strong - willed fellow-men who has always known that life is to be striven hard no matter what the hardships were.
Very True!
ReplyDeleteIt's an eye opener that Life is a subject which has no specific place, time and syllabus ... Each day is a new chapter and every person we meet is our teacher in a way..
Yes my dear. Life's lessons get unfolded so fast in ordinary situations.
